Professional Managers for Events

We are Queensland’s premier event organisers and managers.  We have built our reputation on delivering quality events for our visitors as well as providing a commercially attractive platform for exhibitors.

As a Queensland owned and based company, Organisers International, under the control of Managing Director Janina Cowley, commenced with one event in 1988 and has built a portfolio of successful shows in Brisbane, and since 2004, on the Gold Coast.

These events include two Home Shows in Brisbane and one on the Gold Coast.  The Brisbane events are under The Courier-Mail and The Sunday Mail banners while the Gold Coast event is under The Gold Coast Bulletin banner.

The Brisbane Home Shows are landmark events, the March Show commenced in 1966 at the RNA Showgrounds as The Telegraph Home Show, while the October Home & Design Show was launched in 1988 at the RNA Showgrounds and then at the new Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre in 1997.  

The Courier-Mail and The Sunday Mail Home Shows have distinct personalities matching the two venues.  The March Home Show has a retail flavour with a strong outdoor component taking advantage of the indoor/outdoor sites, while the October Home & Design Show showcases the latest in innovation in all areas of the home.

The Gold Coast Bulletin Home & Lifestyle Fair incorporates home, leisure, women and travel components within the show showcasing the best the Gold Coast has to offer.

Janina is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.  She has been on the Riverfestival Board, The Golden Casket Board and held the position of Chairman of the Events Committee for the Royal Womens Hospital.

Exhibition & Event Association of Australia

Organisers International is a member of the Exhibition & Event Association of Australia.  The EEAA offers membership to organisations that can demonstrate a professional and technical approach in their exhibition and event business.  The EEAAs main aim is to promote the value of exhibitions and the professionalism of its members.
